We’re thrilled by the doubling of submissions for our 2011 festival, and at the standard of work that came through by women working across a range of crafts. This year we’ve introduced two new categories - Film Composition and Film Journalism - which drew to the surface some of the real talent that exists in these often overlooked areas in film. We also doubled our workshops and debates from last year, and hope to plant the seeds of engagement and discussion for everyone who spends time with us over these four wintry days in November.
