Producer Loran Dunn has crafted an enormous body of work over the past ten years, culminating in her feature film debut with last year’s acclaimed documentary A Deal With the Universe. Interested in brave, edgy, challenging and provocative stories, often centered on characters in turmoil, her work is distinctive, and she’s chosen to work with exciting new filmmaking voices. Through her company Delaval Film, she is defining a new era of British screen talent and. It’s about time we spotlight her work, most of which has screened in previous editions of Underwire. After the screening of a selection of her short film work, Loran will be joining us for a Q&A about her work so far and future ambitions.
