The Final Girls present: Night of the Comet

Saturday 17th November

DESCRIPTION

After a rare comet sighting, teen sisters Reggie (Catherine Mary Stewart) and Sam (Kelli Maroney) wake up the next morning to find that most of the city’s population has been wiped out and replaced with piles of red dust, heaps of clothing - and zombies. A sharp-witted, post-apocalyptic teen sci-fi centered on two headstrong Valley girls, Night of the Comet is a cheeky comedy-horror whose irreverent humour inspired the creation of Buffy Summers.

This screening is presented by The Final Girls, a London-based screening series focused on exploring feminist themes in horror cinema and highlighting the representation and work of women in horror, both in front of and behind the camera.
