Ten Years of Underwire

Thursday 19 September

DESCRIPTION

We look back at ten years of Underwire Festival with a selection of short films from its past editions. Underwire Festival is the largest film festival in the UK celebrating female talent in film, and it all started ten years in with a screening in a pub. Over the past decade, it has screened exceptional female talent that has gone on to make award-winning short films and features. The festival has positioned itself as a hub of highly curated short filmmaking, building a community of filmmaking talent around it that continues to be as inspiring as it is humbling. With this selection of short films, we look back at some of the exceptional talent that’s come through Underwire.
