We’re partnering up with Lighthouse, Women in Film & Television and Birds Eye View to bring you a panel discussion and networking event especially for cinematographers.

‘Shoot from the Hip: Female Cinematographers in the UK’ will take place on Wednesday 9th April at Lighthouse in Brighton from 19:00.

At Underwire we’ve been championing female cinematography talent for the past four years and the UK is developing a strong line-up of women behind the camera. Join us for this informative panel discussion where speakers will share their working processes, offer technical advice and talk about how they’ve advanced their career. Speakers include Chloë Thompson (Best Cinematographer, Underwire 2013), Taina Galis (Best Cinematographer, Underwire 2013) and will be chaired by Tricia Tuttle (BFI)

If you’re an aspiring DOP or already working in the field, come along for the session which will be followed by networking drinks.
