With Underwire 2013 fast approaching, we want to take the chance to say a big thank you to all of our sponsors who have made it possible for this year’s festival to happen.

This year we’re welcoming a host of new sponsors who will be presenting drinks receptions at the festival.

Our opening night party will be sponsored by Studio Magazine, the UK’s first film magazine for women and we can’t wait to see you all there! It’s free entry and the drinks will be flowing. Join us in the bar at the Yard Theatre from 6PM on Tuesday November 19th and then we’ll be heading into the screen for the XX Award where we will hear from Team Underwire.

We’ve taken inspiration from our move to East London by curating a Celebration of Sound Evening with a drinks reception sponsored by PCAM and the Musicians’ Union. Join us at the Yard to see the films nominated for Best Sound Designer and Best Composer as well as a panel discussion, in partnership with Imagem, focusing on the relationship between directors and composers.

For Friday night, there’s nowhere better to be than in Hackney Wick! At the Yard, we’ll kick off the evening with the competition screenings for the Best Producer Award followed by the Best Editor Award. Closing the night, we’ll be welcoming back LOCO for our annual LiveWire event; an evening of comedy short films and a great line-up of female stand up comedy. The bar will also be open all night for Friday Night Drinks sponsored by CBS Outdoor.

We’ll be closing Underwire 2013 with a party at the Yard sponsored by Lagunitas Brewing Company. After a day of industry events across East London, join us for the closing competition screening of the Best Director Award and then we’ll have music and dancing to celebrate another year of Underwire.
